This blog serves many purposes for me -- sharing new writing & works in progress, keeping in touch with old friends, making new friends, and keeping an eye on what's happening on the interwebs. But mostly? It's where I blow off steam from graduate school and talk about which David Bowie song is the queerest. ;)

readers, apologies that my blog has become all “my emotions! MY EMOTIONS!!!”

Tell me your break-up pain remedies, please. Silly, sad, cheap, fancy, emotionally grounded or totally escapist, stuff that makes you sob & stuff that stops your crying — I’m not picky, and I’m willing to try a lot of different things. I’m trying to strike a balance between FEEL ALL THE FEELINGS!!! and giving myself enough breathing room from my emotions to, like, sleep & eat & stuff.

I know I will get through this. I know it is always really bad right after. But right now, I just really, really miss Angus.

Also, I’m buggering the hell off to the Pacific Northwest soon, to sleep on a friend’s couch and do a house-sit for some generous people and work on my novel and basically get the hell outta Dodge. Right now, San Francisco is full of way too many memories of what it was like to be Falling in Love this time last year. A break will be good for me.
