Also: I have pain meds, some money to buy Indian take-out, a computer full of movies, a cuddly cat, a soft bed, & lots of friends in the ‘hood in case I need company.
The pain & energy & cost elements of this procedure are all stressful (yes, I am still doing a benefit — more about that soon when I’m less woozy & have more spoons). But, all in all? I’m very lucky.

I am home, woozy/out of it, and in pain. However: While this hurts, it hurts NOWHERE NEAR AS MUCH as the last procedure did. And now it is over. All in all, the glass is half-full.
