My newly re-organized kitchen (now with portable dishwasher & hanging shelves!), and today’s delicious brunch: Rainbow chard & purple onions* in butter & olive oil, eggs, herb & garlic chevre, and wheat toast.

Also, I spent this last Saturday of vacation the same way I spent my first Saturday of vacation: Cooking and cleaning my kitchen and watching Golden Girls. :) Some things just don’t go outta style.


*I have always loved this onion-related French idiom (“Mêle-toi de tes oignons!”). It roughly translates to “Mind yer own beeswax!”
